According to http://en.wikipedia.org The Thomas and Friends which is also known as Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends (Original title) is a children television series. This Animated television series was created by Wilbert Awdry (characters),Christopher Awdry (characters) and Britt Allcroft. The writer of these children animated series was Britt Allcroft (1984–1998), David Mitton (1984–2002),Various (2002–present), Sam Barlow (2004-2012; story executive), Sharon Miller (2006–2012; head writer)
and Andrew Brenner (2013–present; head writer). This animated series also directed by David Mitton (1984–2003), Steve Asquith (2002; 2004–2008), Greg Tiernan (2009–2012) and David Baas (2013–present).
