According to en.wikipedia.org, Bridge to Terabithia is a 2007 fantasy drama movie directed by Gábor Csupó and also executed for film by David L. Paterson together with Jeff Stockwell. The film is based on the Katherine Paterson novel of the exact same name, and launched by Walt Disney Pictures in the US. The movie actors Josh Hutcherson, AnnaSophia Robb, Robert Patrick, Bailee Madison, and Zooey Deschanel. Bridge to Terabithia tells the story of Jess Aarons and Leslie Burke, ten-year-old neighbors who set up a fantasy world known as Terabithia and spend their leisure time together in an deserted tree house.
The creative novel was based on events from the childhood of the author's son, screenwriter David Paterson. While he asked his mother if he can create a screenplay of the novel, she agreed to some extent due to his capability as a playwright. Creation began in February 2006, and the film was completed by November. Principal photography was shot in Auckland, New Zealand within sixty days. Movie modifying have taken 10 weeks, though post-production, sound mixing, and visual effects have taken several months.
Bridge to Terabithia was released to extremely positive testimonials; critics called it a dedicated adaption of the children's novel, and also discovered dynamic visuals and natural performances further improved the imaginative film. Bridge to Terabithia was selected for seven awards, winning 5 at the Young Artist Awards.
